Markie and Randall both love snowboarding so I gave them a chance to get on thier boards for a bit. It was hard to stay balance, though, without snow boots!

Randall and Markie are getting married next August, and they rbaved the freezing cold this week for a portrait shoot! They are really brave!!!

Last weekend was so warm and beautiful, and Saturday evening ended up being the perfect time for Jocelyn and Bill's engagement session!!! This cute and funny couple are getting married next May and were so much fun to work with!

We had a lot of snow today and last night, so we made a sledding hill for the kids from our driveway which slopes down towards our house. They had a great time!

This summer I was honored with being published on the cover of Reflections magazine. Relfections is a publication of Hope's Promise, an adoption agency in the area. You can learn more about Hope's Promise at http://www.hopespromise.com/ . The older of the two girls on the cover, Ryleigh, was adopted using Hope's Promise as a baby. She is pictured with her little sister Tessa.

Today I convinced my kids to give me four minutes for a couple pictures in the snow (well, I convinced two of my kids). We had a good time before the cold set in. I love this first one because of the look of concentration on Liana's face as she jumps!
Kai needed to give his sister a big hug. I love the look on his face!

Nate, Nick and Charlie are such cute boys! I photographed them a year ago and couldn't believe how they have grown. Especially Charlie, the two year old! We had a fun session, with the boys wrestling and running about. They did a great job!

This Saturday Gabrielle and Eddie got married at Montview Presbyterian Church in Denver, Colorado. They are the nicest people, and really hilarious to be around. It was a beautiful wedding!

The reception was directly following at Hotel Monaco in downtown Denver.

This girl was a relative of Gabrielle's, and I discovered her over in the corner sneaking sugar packets. The last one especially made me laugh.

This was my second time photographing these two little cuties and their parents. They are the most adorable twin girls and we had such a good time at this park in Arvada, Colorado.

Christa and David were married last Sunday at Happy Heart Farm in Ft. Collins, Colorado. It was a beautiful spot, and the place of their engagement.
David walked both his own mom, and Christa's, down the aisle. This moment here was as they waited for their turn to proceed.
Christa's dog, and that of one of the bridesmaid's, were also part of the wedding party.
The ring bearer couldn't resist having his dog, Fudge, in attendance as well.
The reception took place at the Lincoln Center. This too was outdoors, and despite lingering rain clouds the event went off almost entirely without rain!
The guests were each given paper and instructions for making these oragami birds.
There were a lot of funny toasts during the reception. I loved Christa and David's reactions to this one!

Adi and Chrissy are a fun loving couple with lots of humor and energy. Their wedding took place this Saturday at the University of Denver in Denver, Colorado.

We are so thilled to have two new options for the albums we make for our portrait and wedding clients!!! We now offer a panoramic album that opens up along the bottom of the photo of the dress.
Our second new addition is that we offer leather bound albums now. I think these are so beautiful!
This particular book is an engagement guest book album. This would be the guest book at the wedding and guests could write meaningful and personal statements to the couple.

This week we went on our first ever family camping trip with my sister and her four kiddos.

THis is Jessica and Craig, a sweet, cute couple who got married Saturday. They had a gorgeous ceremony at Forestgate Presbyterian Church and their reception was at The Inn at Palmer Divide.

There were raindrops falling as we exited the ceremony, so we took a could of seconds to get this shot right before the big rain came.
We took these after teh big rain fell, when we had gotten to the Inn.

Last week I got to photograph the Stumbo family at the Air Force Academy land. I had never been out there and loved all the open land and the mountain views! The father in the family, Jim, works there, so it gave the spot extra meaning!

This absolutely beautiful wedding took place at La Foret Conference and Retreat Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Kris and Mike are a lovely couple who are kind and gracious and so much fun!
Kris' dress was much like herself: elegant and beauitful, yet easy to move around in, which fits her athletic personality.
Kris' daughter Skyler and her cousins were flower girls.
Mike couldn't resist peeking out from his waiting room to say ehllo to family and friends.
I love the look on Kris' face when she looks at Mike as she ocmes down the aisle!
